Searching for something
I’m jumping from one to another dumb thing
It’s keeping me busy at any cost
Letting a special connection get lost
And as I’m looking around
I realize, my heart is a dumping ground

Much stuff on the floor
But still looking for more
So distracted that I have to think twice
’till I remember that the best advice
For regaining the overlook
Is found in the holy book

It says: Don’t be anxious at all
And even when you fall
Even when you have to crawl
There’s a father who will be your all in all
Believe the word of the Lord
’cause what he says is like a sword

There’ s no carefreeness without trust
So search him from dawn to dusk
And get to know how he is
That he wants you to be his
If you let him be your comfort, charge, rest
He’ll turn everything into your very best

He is Light
Wants to take over your fight
King of all the above
Explore, he is love
At least try believing, you should
Since he is everything good

I have to calm down, be silent
If needed take a time of lent
I was allways talking, now I need to stop
The priority list has listening on top
Careful, Satan roars and calls you by sin
But God calls you by name, put this feint into the bin

After all I have to confess
That before, my Life was a mess
Peace inside me
Is needed to be free
Tidy up, Jesus, please!
Only your adjustment can bring me that Peace

On earth there’s still much pain – no surprise
But behind that my hope is not in vain, I’ll get a price
Earthly disease and catastrophies
My soul won’t be killed among these
But in Heaven it will cease
And there will be peace
